I had my first surprise party last night to celebrate my half-birthday. All my friends convinced me they were not going to be able to make it, and then showed up at my door. We went out to dinner and I got to open a bunch of flasks. Yes, flasks. It was a tiny bit embarrassing, but so much fun!

ReplyDeleteAnd I would have given you a flask with something to warm you on a cold winters night inside it, if you catch my drift. Cause I believe in celebrating an unbirthday proper, I do.
She really can't drink for another 6 months. . .but who is counting right? Besides you of course?
ReplyDeleteThat's why the flasks were empty, Jonathan. Believe me, Rachel, when you actually do hit 21, we're going to Margaritaville. It's the happiest freakin' place on earth. You don't mind walking along a skeezy, dirty street with lots of neon and hookers to get to the greatest bar-themed restaurant in the world, do you?
ReplyDeleteAnd suddenly, my favorite teenage memories seem shady... Sorry, guy. We can just go to Chuck E. Cheese's, if you'd lief.
You loved those flasks.
ReplyDeleteCamilla, I am sure she would totally how you put it "lief" it but she would probably not like it.
